The Kas Product "Houba-Houba !"

Kas Product is (was!) an alternative music band with 2 members : Mona Soyoc (vocal + guitar) and
Spatsz (Keyboards + programming). The band is originally from Nancy (east of France) and 3 albums were
released between 1981 and 1986 (Try out, By-pass and Ego eye). The band appeared yet in 1991 under the
name "Extravaganza" (i saw a concert on march 15th 1991 close to Nancy with guests artists like Christine Lidon...).
Since this last(?) concert i didn't get anymore information about this band.
Recently, Mona Soyoc came back as a guest singer (for two songs) with
Zend Avesta on the album "Organique".

After three years of silence, Individual Industry is back with
"Ice-Water", following the acclaimed debut-album "Templum Probus".
Individual Industry are Alexandre Twin (mastermind and the man behind
all instruments) and the new female singer, Daniela Rocha. Her sensual
voice combines perfectly with the cold and melodious strings
.Individual Industry's music is easy to label: ethereal-pop. Refreshing
and accessible sounds provided by a wide range of influences, from
Cocteau Twins to Twilight Ritual, British cold-wave (Human League,
Gary Numan) to techno-sound scapes a la Future Sound Of London. This
album features the sublime pop pearl "Cubic", the wellknown "Ice" in a
new version and the homage paid to the French duo Kas Product, through a
cover version of its club-hit "Tina Town". This album includes guests as
the French Opera Multi Steel (vocals on "Vie Si Joliment Vide") and
Habitants ,that put their hands in "Ice (HabitantsAtmospheric Remix)".
Produced by Roberto Verta (Harry, Third World Fear), "Ice-Water" was
recorded at Home Hell Studio, between 94-96. The booklet brings
pictures done by Haroldo Palo Jr. ( Jacques Costeau assistant) showing
the calm and enigmatic Antartic, where Haroldo had been lived for eight
months.
"Ice-Water" is about the individual, the human being of our actual
chaotic society, where deny basic feelings is an astonished reality. A
slim ice layer just need the sun to get liquid. Individual Industry
shows an alternative in a very simple way: composing beautiful songs for
body and mind.
